Today was an exciting day! After 3 weeks of waiting and praying for permission to use the name Hope House, we finally received verbal permission! Today we called Hope house in Anaheim and spoke to the founder. She was VERY nice and gracious. She agreed to give us permission to also use the name!!!!!!
The next step is to obtain written permission on their letterhead. The founder said she would write the letter of permission and send it out to us. Once I get the permission on their letterhead I can fax that into legalzoom along with the names of the board members; then the process will be moving forward.
Once these things are submitted it should take 7-10 days for the non profit to be established in the state of California. 3-6 months from then we will be able to have federal approval for tax exemption status!
This is all very exciting and I covet your prayers. Since the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,we are taking that single step! Pray that God will show us the next steps in the right time! :) Thank you for all of your prayers this far!
